I don't know where the apparent paranoia on Bungie's side, regarding year one gear is coming from. Or let's face it, pre DLC gear, because something happens to previous gear every time a new DLC drops. I've used, and appreciated new gear with every drop, every time. When Crota dropped, I couldn't wait to get Black hammer and sword breaker! Ok, HoW raid weapons are a little lacking, but my NL Shadow is a Beast! I love this gun! I use it over my Fatebringer every time, unless there is an arc burn, and even then I'll switch over to Fang sometimes. So why the paranoia? Why the Nerfing, and redundancy? Bungie, let us keep our gear! Because no matter what, you will always make us something new we will use and love! Don't take away our toys (and loooooooong hours of grinding) and promise we'll get new ones. Let us keep our old toys, and enjoy the new ones when they come! It's all about the collection baby!
