No I am mandalore, the true leader of the MANDALORIANS. The real ones not the death watch who bring us shame nor the pacifists who reject our history and culture. Yes our homeworld is called mandalore but it is also the title held by our leaders.

No, what I think he means was the actual title "Mandalore." Yes it was a planet, and the title Mandalore originated from Mandalorian culture. Forgive me, it's been awhile since I've checked, but I believe Mandalore was supposed to be the supreme leader who achieved his role through the glory of combat.
