I've got to agree with the others, although you'll still have the hive perks and vex perks they'll likely be outweighed by the extreme power comparison of newer weapons that will be out. Like what has been said why use a 365 weapon when a 500 would be far more effective at doing the same job?

Unless they add a higher level to them for the new level cap. Then why use a 365 weapon when new ones will be around the 500-600 dps?

Nah I dont believe they will. They didnt add to vog and ce when how dropped so i doubt they will.

This is all new class specific gear. No more light character levels. Cap is 40. They really want us walking through these raids capped at 32? What would be the point of any old content? Including guns?

They've already said that light will matter for dmg output just not levels

So even with raid useful gear. Why use an under power weapon? If all will outclass the old gear in the last parts of TTK?
