My biggest fear though, given the track record, is that destiny 2 will be a completely new game. Meaning that it will be a whole new reboot. Perhaps the story will continue but anything you've done up to that point will be for nothing. Now before the blind fanboys jump in and say in their best Kip Dynamite voice, "that's what all games do.", that is not how Destiny was advertised. It was advertised as a ten year game. This whole business of not ascending raid gear is already setting a precedence to make the grind for nothing in a true sequel when that does come to fruition. Side note: Before ol hellfire comes in and threatens to beat me within an inch of my life for using the term "blind" as it may offend people who can't actually see, I just want to point out that I was not using it in that context and truly didn't mean to offend his uber politically correct mindset.
