I fixed it!!!! I recently had a problem with my wife's iPhone it had memory taken up by deleted photos that wasn't showing on her phone phantom photos if u wanna call it that. So what I did was manually set the date back on my phone then the photos would pop up.. Tell everyone to switch off the automatic time setter and roll the dates back before the time they lost it go back in the app and it should be where they left it... Awesome can't believe I found it!!!!
