Let's take a look at TTK content:
-lots of new missions, 3 new strikes (4 for PS) and 3 new revamped strikes
-12+ exotic weapons and 6+ armours for each class
-a new explore able area
-a huge new raid
-more cutscenes
-more characters involved in the story (vanguard mentors for example)
-the biggest raid
-a new public event
-a new enemy race
-a new villain
-3 new subclasses
-3 new crucible modes
-8 new crucible maps
-new weapon foundries with signature types
-no more light determining level, now XP
-new scanning feature to tell you about your surroundings
-now tells you who's talking in the top right corner
-Light now determines your strength
-Different quest lines (I.e 'Still Got Wolf Problems)
-Strike and mission-specific rewards
-Loot themed around certain activities (the skull-helmet from one of the trailers)
And probably more. That DEFINETLY worth $40 for a DLC.

We lose trials and iron banner. I paid 39.99 for dying light including a 15pound season pass. Over 100 missions dlc horde modes. Hundreds of weapons n mods. Im not saying taken king isnt good its never worth 40 not when full games are the same price

Um iron banner always fluctuates and boohoo you lose trials for a short period. Definitely bad idea that bungie wants to see how 2.0 patch works before letting it loose in trials right away. Come on buddy

We paid for trials in a dlc. Guess you dont play trials i do so do lots of players. Im not a hater just think its poor that we paid for a dlc we wont be able to use a part of it until bungie say so.
