Why do men treat women gamers bad? I legit want true honesty here (open up)
Hey there, I'm a gamer from Texas.
I have a legit question I really want to know. After encountering so many rude remarks flirting, or even observing fellow female gamers yelled at/cat called...I really wanna know why a lot if you Lads don't like women? There would be times nothing would happen and yelling name calling and harassment would arise. Almost all of the times the lady gamer werent doing anything and the male would pick at her. Either being sexual or really aggressive. I noticed male gamers would get super mad when she would try to defend herself as if she had no right to defend herself. Then there are the few sweet guys that are super quiet guys. Only 1% percent out of 99 percent. Just tell me a simple sentence of what your attitude towards women is, in the gaming community. Is it Jealousy? Nervousness? No contact with women? Or you just don't like women gaming? Thanks.[spoiler]im watching he honest ok....[/spoiler]

Internet anonymity adequately explains why this happens. Poor treatment happens to guys just as much as gals, if not more. As for flirting, alot of guys like girls, and a little harmless flirting doesn't hurt anyone. Even when stalking is involved, the internet acts as a natural proxy.

Gamers are mean to everyone, it's just the nature of the internet. Occasionally you'll meet some ppl who r nice and break the mold of anonymity but yeah they're all assholes

I remember reading an article saying that make gamers face just as much abuse as female gamers. So I guess when you girls are "too busy making sandwiches", us guys are "gay faggòts" and out moms are getting laid by the Xbox live community.

They're just gamers to me, I don't differentiate. I try my best to be respectful and considerate to anyone I encounter. But I do have a question for you, why would you suspect jealousy?

The only things I don't like are the annoying little kids ( respectful or nice kids are cool with me), the assholes, the creeps, and the elitists. It's sad that some guys are assholes to others over video games. It's also sad that other guys worship the ground people walk on just because they are a different sex. Just ignore the bad people and find a group of people that you can have fun with.

I Don't care if the ones I play with are male or female. I don't disrespect, cat-call, or discriminate. I have one goal in mind. DESTRUCTION! I think it's sad that I myself don't see many female gamers. I only played with one female since release of Destiny. If any females need a friend to help them in game activities, add me as a friend xbone only. Gt same.
