1: Destiny is not an MMO. 2: No, that is not common in the least for MMOs. 3: You can be excited about TTK all you want, that's fine. But it doesn't change how screwed over all the Year 1 players are. And if they do this now? There is literally nothing stopping them from doing it consistently every year. You'll spend each year doing nothing but grinding for gear, only to have it all reset afterwards at the start of the next year. Literally no actual progression, nothing to show for your hard work or time invested. 4: That was a crazy expensive Beta Test, dude. $100 for most? I think we're entitled to certain shit. They give Year 1 players literally no reason to stick around and keep playing/spending money on their products.
