Etheric light after TTK release?
Hello Guardians (and Bungie),
Maybe this has been answered and I missed it, but do we know if Etheric Light will still be obtainable after TTK releases? I ask because I'd like to make sure as many of my favorite weapons as possible are maxed, even if it's only to Year 1 standards. If Etheric Light won't be obtainable after TTK launches, then there won't be a way to do that, right?

Most likely yes from guaranteed loot drops like POE so new player or people who want to upgrade old equipment can still bring it to the year 1 max. That would be my guess if they didn't it would make very little sense.

I wondered that as well. I didn't see any mention of it, but only that year one weapons can't go past their current limits. That leads me to think the etheric light might not be needed going forward. OR...maybe it'll be integrated into the leveling scheme for TTK gear and weapons. I suppose we'll find out soon enough.
