Not necessarily on the Exotics. Everything I've read so far just says you can't ascend Legendary so I'm thinking Exotics are safe. They also have a huge weapon re-balance coming in that addresses a wide range of those exotics. If they were being left behind in year one then they wouldn't need nerfing. I'm not keen on this whole idea, we've been able to bring our weapons forward so far so it'll definitely be a shame to leave some of them behind. I prefer the idea of wanting to switch to the new weapons because they add new variety, perks or are just interesting again. The idea of forcing you to use them just because they're the only things powerful enough just strikes me as cheap.
