Alright point proven. But seriously re-read the GI articles thoroughly. It said "not set to ascend at the beginning of year 2". This means we will be able to ascend in the future but not instantly. This is backed by Cosmo's statement. To be honest this can be a good thing to wait for ascension. It allows us to test all the new stuff before bringing up the old to determine if the ascension is worth it. How can that be bad?
