Dude if you don't like the game just don't play it... You don't have to bitch about not getting to use the same weapon for 10 years. This is going to be a 10 year franchise. So this post basically says "oh -blam!- bungie they are making it so I can have my vault of glass armor and my beloved fatebringer for the next 9 years" boo hoo! Now don't get me wrong I love fatebringer and vision of confluence but it would get pretty boring if you used the same weapon the exact same way for 10 years. I don't want to lose my VOG weapons but the game would get dull if there was never a change in the items you use

What about Halo? It's been the same "F-ing" weapons for so many years, yet it is still good.

We want it so we can use year one gear AND year two gear. Bungie can just balance the year two gear so we will be able to use both. We can't use the same weapon for 10 years because we will also have year two weapons.

For some reason they are under the impression that allowing Year 1 stuff to ascend will mean no one will get any of the Year 2 stuff. They must be really insecure about these new weapons if that's the case.
