I'm sorry but Ascension is still in for exotics which was the only thing that really needs it The only reason ascension is good for legendaries is light ratings, because until now the only max level gear you could have was raid or iron banner gear And they're removing light levels so THATS no longer an issue Bummed out that your hopscotch pilgrim won't carry over to TTK? I get that, but I guarantee you there will be a max attack rating pulse rifle somewhere in the game that is completely analogous to the hopscotch The only thing I'm bummed about is previous raid gear becoming obsolete, but there's an easy fix to that Allow raids to be set at upper levels, that way you can get level 40 VoG gear by doing VoG at level 40 There's no evidence that they would do that, but it wouldn't be hard to add to the game and it would be a hell of a lot more fun than ascension Especially since if they just left ascension in the game you could get the best gear by doing your level 30 VoG at level 40 and then out an etheric light on it and have a maxed out level cap VofC and call it a day Ascension is fine the way it's being changed Let it go This time it's being done right
