An all woman/girl clan is nothing new Gamerchix http://www.popchix.com/index.php/about_us I remember them since Halo 3 was extremely popular . They were recognized by Bungie before. Most gamers are males. A vast amount of them have sexist mentalities (**). Clans like these are created based on the fact that a lot males can't see past gender and recognize a girl as a person who games, so they harass them (**). Clans/Groups like Dames of Destiny and Gamerchix took a negative and made it a positive. Good for them. **If this statement does not apply to you, then please do not take offense.
