I know you will probably have a lot on your hands and might not be able to leave the messe halls (which are HUGE and AMAZING!) but if you get the chance and want to check out some local cuisine, I can totally recommend you an awesome brewery right next to cologne cathedral (on the far side from the station). They serve my favorite beer and have awesome food as well.
