Iron banner machine lord strategy?
It feels almost impossible to keep heavy ammo with a machine gun, let alone even get heavy ammo to begin with in iron banner. I'm a decent player, it's just that I can never get any heavy ammo, and even if I do, I can't seem to keep it very long.
What strategies are there for getting heavy, keeping it, and then earning those machine lord medals?

I'd go with field scout( if you have an lmg from before HoW) or casket mag on a high impact lmg because 3-6 bullets kill a guardian and if you can't aim, you'll need extra bullets in case you miss
