1 in 10 odds don't guarantee the drop you want after 10 drops. Each roll is 1 in 10 every time. It's the same reason that you don't always get heads then tails or tails then heads every time you flip a coin. Every flip is 1 in 2 ever time which means you can still get heads after flipping heads.
