I remember being excited to get chatter white, speeder and ship. Vex back then was so amazing that it was actually worth chasing. Felt a lot like an MMO back then. Met a lot of great people back then to complete VoG and later Crota's End.

I know how you feel, i meet some people that i still play with today in a variety of games. And i remember getting vex the week before the nerf, when it was really op, it felt amazing to just tear through everything, those were the days.

I was so excited to get it because me and a buddy got it the same raid for the first time. So we went straight to the crucible where we got -blam!-. No perks was not a good way to use the Vex in the crucible for the first time. LMAO. No Zen Moment made for a hillariously horrible experience. We laughed so hard at ourselves.

Thats great, my closest friend and i would do the raid 3 times a week every week, and he could not get the mythoclast, while i would get one every week it seemed(i think my total is close to 15). I would get it week after week and at a point he would just get frustrated and get off the game because he couldnt get it, but on the other side while he wasnt getting vex he was getting most other exotics. And while i was getting vex i didnt get exotics like thunderlord and gjallarhorn, so it evened out and he eventually got it, although it wasnt in it's prime
