Indeed, for a while.
But they fixed the Atheon push quickly and even Templar well before TDB came out.
So given drop rates a lot (like me) were doing hard VoG three times a week with blue weapons and no cheese. Didn't even know about sniping oracles / Templar at that point.

I'll agree with that, made it to atheon the week before they patched it. Then had to learn the real way.. With a legendary pulse rifle as my only decent weapon.
