Dude.
Seriously best advice ever.
Walk away from Destiny for a little while. For real. RNGesus is real. He wants you to play. So if you neglect his ass for a while, he'll give you what you want.
In my experience if I haven't played for a while, when I go back I get something good. It's to keep you playing.
Your odds are far better when you're casual.

Mate this is so true, went off destiny for the witcher and a few other games, come back 2 months later and I get a mida multi tool in PoE and a treasure key, do it the second time and I get a hard light - then get a legendary engram from dragon strikes and I get a 2nd gally all within a week

Lies. Can't get much more casual than me. No Ghorn or Hawkmoon. But then again, as a casual, I don't stress out about it.
