I attempted PoE on 35 yesterday for the first time with some friends who had not done this yet either. I run as a gunslinger and they use defender in the PoE. We got to round 3 with no problems. This round is cabal with catapult and arc burn. I immediately switched to bladedancer and they too switched to striker. Unfortunately we didn't clear the round on our first attempt and with the dismantle mines waves they felt it best to switch back to defender. Dismantling mines with a defender bubble is usually a solid strategy, but with the psions using their ability and one shot'n us from outside the bubble, it wasn't working. I proposed the strategy of us using blind grenades and havoc fist to drop orbs and keep the offense going. They wouldn't listen. They we're fixated on using a tried and true method even though the circumstances called for a different approach. My question, how do I get my friends to try a new strategy? And if they won't, can I please get someone to help me get through this weeks 35 PoE?
