I won't do raids with anyone without Ghally now, sorry. Not fair and sounds douche like but, I'd rather make up the damage I lost for the nerf. Also let me know when a heavy surpasses Ghally.

I've never had a Gally, so always had to use something else (usually Truth or Uppercut Payload) and I've alwas managed just fine. The only time I think it has ever made a difference was when doing PoE 35 a few weeks back. It took me forever to take him down without a Gally, I then used my wifes accoutn (she has a Gally) and did the same PoE for her as she was way and unable to complete it that week. It was easy, took down Skolas in no time at all. So yeah, having a Gally makes it easier, but is that really what we want? Do we really want a game that has one weapon that is so OP that it almost becomes a requirement? I don't think it makes it any more fun

I'll take it you're new to the game? We all had to do the raids with out one at the start and you know what??? It was a hell of a lot more fun.

Try raiding without Ghally, it's actually nice to open up your Exotic slot to something else instead. Ghally is not required to achieve anything in Destiny, it just makes you lazy.

In my personal experience, other exotics are not worth it in PvE. Most exotics dont live up to the exotic name or feel. So until then, I just keep using my Gjallerhorn in my exotic slot for PvE.

Make up the damage. Really? Both hard mode raids are ridiculously easy since the level increase. Precision hits are the way to go on Atheon, and Crota can be downed in 2-3 rockets. Beyond sounding douchey/elitist, it's just completely unnecessary.

He's right though, it sucks and that's life. I've many other things to do, I love Destiny, and I love playing the game, however I put in the time I got the PVE tool kit, Gally, Icebreaker, Black Hammer, Fate Bringer, Visions. etc. My time is valuable to me, and nuking things with Gally to get the most stuff done in the least about of time possible is how I chose to play the game. Am I not entitled to the rewards from the sweat of my brawl? No says the Cryptarch, all your purple's belong to US. No Says the Queen all your loot belongs to ME, no Says the Speaker all your Glimmer Belongs to the City. NO says Bungie form on High as they nerf the Ghorn. This is giving into the crying of the have not's, instead of making it easier to obtain, Xur, or drop rate buff, they nerf it.

Well to be honest, depending on just how hard Wolfpack rounds have been hit, -blam!-ing dragons breath could be more powerful now...
