I disagree. Heavy weapons flat out suck, take a rocket and shoot it at skolas. Then pull out a sniper to see what does more damage. G-horn didn't need a nerf, all other heavies needed a buff. This whole balance thing is overkill. They need to take things one step at a time, not just jump in and rework everything.

No. It was needed. The fact Wolfpack Rounds did not need to do that much more damage. That needed a nerf. It will still be useable.

I'm not saying it's unusable, all other heavies aren't worth the time, not just cuz G-horn is better, but because even sniper rifles will do more damage and faster.

Well if course they do. They deal precision damage. MGs deal more because they deal precision damage. Rocket launchers do not. And at that point, that is why Ghorn is exotic. Because it has a little extra power.

Then what's the point of heavies if special weapons do more damage, faster and there's more ammo readily available and cheaper too I might add.

You are comparing apples to oranges. MGs do more damage over rocket launchers. Rocket launchers are instant damage. You proc with most MG bullets and you do more damage.
