Heron made a "What If" thread, so I came up with this (and some expanding on it): What if reality is subject only to the viewer? What if things like ghosts are actually due to our inability to conceive of these people in a different reality? What if we only see them because they exist in an objective reality, and therefore exist? Whaf if people that we deem "insane" are simply living out a reality vastly different from the norm? What if hallucinogenic drugs are really just pathways to other realities, and they have effects on our bodies because we aren't used to that reality? [spoiler]Thinking about this should keep you awake for a while. I know it's been keeping me awake.[/spoiler]
