My childhood was defined by Nintendo and its games. Pokémon was one such game that not only brought me hours of enjoyment and fun, but also it gave me friends that played the games as well. As I grew older I would always play the newest Pokémon game and would gain new timeless memories. Thanks to Nintendo I became a gamer and will always give them and Iwata-sensei in particular the credit for turning me into a gamer through their many entertaining products. Now that he has passed, I feel as though a part of my life has died. I do not intend to drown in sorrow due to his passing, but instead return to my gaming roots to honor the company and man that gave me a hobby and a passion that is going to forever live on in my life. Thank you Iwata-sensei for everything, you shall be missed.
