Many of the old legendaries like Shadow Price, Zombie Apocalypse WF47, and the Monitor Type-2 helmet on my Titan were precious to us. Rendered useless by the Dark Below's incessant need for more light, we quickly dismantled the old gear just to keep up. This was before we learned we could upgrade any legendary to maximum light level. Now that option is available to us, and it would be an immense fan service if Bungie added the old gear to the existing loot pool like engrams, faction packages, etc. This extra amount of weapons and armor would create a bigger diversity among guardians in the Crucible and PVE instances. It takes a Comedian to kill a Party Crasher. I am also aware that Vanguard Tiger Strikes reward blue engrams that possibly decrypt as pre-Dark Below legendaries. However, at the current rate that blues become legendary, it could take dozens of strike attempts before finally achieving a single legendary. Even if this post falls on deaf ears, hopefully Bungie takes notice of the increasing number of posts about older legendaries. In the meantime all you vets rockin' old school gear, show them off! State your legendary and which character it's on.
