Clan tags help identify who you are when sending invites to other clan players. This will increase your success for finding other clan mates when doing Raids & missions. To activate your Clan tag go to the Clan homepage where it says Gods Mercs in big letters there is a interact button you click that and then click se the clan as your primary PSN clan and your set.
