Who else wants those Exotic Class Items?
As a collector of weapons, I have TONS of items to upgrade and it becomes tedious because of how one-sided leveling is (bounties only, why is it the only way to level up?).
But is the extra cost worth it?

20 bucks isn't worth 15 less minutes of grinding in the crucible or strike playlist for exp imo

I'm getting the digital collectors edition since I want everything and I personally don't mind re-buying the game digitally, cause its kinda like a back up if my disc gets scratched and to be honest I can't wait for The Taken King. And $80 ain't that much.

There will be a whole additional quest line (12 missions or so I keep hearing) in addition to likely one more primary bounty assigning faction as well as vanguard bounties, Eris Morn's bounties at the tower (she may also appear on the dreadnought), and the Reef bounties. If the Nightfall level doesn't radically adjust with the new expansion then that may also still offer an xp buff for your questing so I would say the collector items will not be worth the price. There is also a lot of rumor around class items being given customization slots or perks outside of just the faction specific ones so its possible you will be able to get an xp bonus that way as well. Ultimately, the items are only going to be worth the cost if you are a diehard fan or a dedicated collector.
