i think the forums need a ranking system
to be honest the forums needs a ranking system to see some validity, this whole like dislike system as well as posts having to keep getting comments to re-appear on the forums is becoming a chore.
the system in place would be top show who knows their stuff as well as who has been unhelpful and malignant to the forums.
this way in sections such as feed back bungie can listen to high ranking posters who have had the backing of the community as well to truly show what the community agrees on for bugs and fixes
as apposed to browsing the forums and looking at whats trending or whats got the highest like to dislike ratio.....

11 RisposteNo it does not need a member ranking system just so some people can stroke their ego even more for then people would purposely upvote some people and down others or use bots and fake accounts to make themself look good and others look bad. repuation/ranking systems do not work ever. they are easily abuse and manipulated by those that know how and it is not hard to do ever.
