Why would they go to the effort of making a gun and corresponding Grimoire card and its associated points for one player?
They made it for everyone, the guy just got it early.
It'll be available to all at some point I'm pretty sure. I don't think its available now, but I think it will be in the future.

I agree. I expect it to be in the game eventually but it certainly is not an attainable item yet.
