That decreases the variety and value of the nightfall, few would play it and those that did would be outraged. The only way I see that being a good thing is if they run nightfall gear like the necrocasm.

As of right now there's no way to obtain the Vanilla legendary weapons. People would much rather get a Shadow Price from the Nightfall than any legendary you can buy from vanguard.
