I never had, I mean I've checked them out by myself but never completed one despite the countless offers I get everyday to run them with random people. I'm just not interested for whatever reason

I felt the same way and tried going solo to no avail. I did VoG with new Destiny players recently and it's really fun. Try it!!

First time (about 3 weeks ago) I got Gjally. Second time I got Icebreaker and a couple days ago Found Verdict. RNGesus is kind to me sometimes. Lol
