A while back I wrote up a comprehensive beginner's guide to the Vault of Glass raid (normal difficulty). I believe VoG to be the better raid for players new to raiding. The guide is split into 3 parts (because character limit), links included. The first part, which I will link below, defines any and all terminology that is unique to the VoG, mostly special enemies (what they look like and what they do) with some main objective points as well. Scrolling down to the bottom you'll find the link to Part 2. Parts 2 and 3 detail, in order, the specifics of each encounter in the raid; what the area is like, what you need to do, possible complications, etc. I highly suggest any beginners at least read Part 1, understanding what a vet is saying when he shouts: "A Praetorian is taking the Mars sync plate!" will be vital.
