It's all about operating hours and how you care for the system. My buddy has always had both systems, he keeps them in a tv stand with ZERO airflow, never cleans the vents, and keeps them powered on all the time. Both systems are getting replaced constantly. I take care of mine and as a result they both work fine, never had problems out of either.
