A ship lands on an old helipad and a huge mechanical man steps out, smoking a cigar. It is Python. His guns on his back, sword at his hip and revolver in hand.
"Good to be back."
He starts walking down the empty, destroyed street. He looks at his old sentry post and ashes the cigar.
He thinks to himself...
[i]What the hell? Where is everyone? I know this place got destroyed but Murph said he had a team and job here....[/i]
He walks down the street, alone. Each step cracks the asphalt. He looks over at an overturned car that seems to have been there for a while. A skeleton lays inside it, motionless and a hole in it's skull. He investigates. Eventually, he gets up and continues walking down the street....

*two Scouts see the Shuttle land* Scout 1: Ignus patrol? Scout 2: Maybe. Let's follow it and report back. *they proceed to track Python as he walks*

Python continues walking, looking over his shoulder every once in a while. Then he yells.... "MURPH! WHERE ARE YOU!" He stops walking and looks around.

*the Scouts take cover* *watches from a tree* *the other sits inside a nearby building*

Python walks up to building the scout team is in and and knocks on the door. "You know, you guys are pretty bad at hiding..."

*the Scout in the building draws his rifle* B-Back away... *covering his face is the banner of the Scouts *the tree Scout draws his rifle and takes aim* T-The Empire will never fall....

Python laughs and points to the scout in the tree. "Get down. You look like a little kid." He stops laughing and gets serious. "I side with the Empire. Always have always will. Back up from the door, I'm coming in..."

S-Stay back! *he takes a shot* *it bounces off of you* Prove your Empire.

"You ever heard of a soldier named Python? The Destroyer? Created by Phantom?" I don't even react to the bullet that hits me.

*the Scouts whisper* "How does he know about those names" *they pause and look at you* "I think Command would want to hear this." "Fine." *they both turn to you* Scout 1: Follow us. *they throw a device on you* We can't have the Ignus tracing you. *they proceed to lead you toward the Base*

*they continue walking towards a ruined industrial area*

"Where are we going?" Python looks around curiously, wondering what happened to the Empire.

*you all enter a abandoned warehouse with shipping containers* "Go on." *you walk into one of the containers, and one of the Scouts presses a hidden panel* *you fell as though your descending* *the door opens and you find yourself in a bustling underground base* *one of the Scouts point* "Command is in that room over there"

"Ok...." Python begins walking over to command, looking around at the room. He keeps his guns near, sensing danger but relaxing when he sees the weapons that they are using.

I wouldn't relax in a unknown location. *a voice says* Even if our weapons are a little downgraded. *you see a man standing over a table with a map* *his bottom face is covered with the Scout banner* *he wears a eyepatch over his right eye* *he seems familiar* *but you don't pickup any Genesis signals from him* Always cocky, Eh, Python?

"Do I know you?" Python walks up to the table studying the map.

At least I know this makes me unrecognizable. *takes off scarf* So just where the hell have you been?

He recognizes you instantly. "Well, Phantom, I've been captured, tortured, broke out, tried to start a family, they were killed, then I got a distress signal from Murph and came here." Python looks at the maps. "Map of the city?"

And the surrounding areas. *walks over to map* You know the Ignus, from Exalin? Turns out they didn't die with Exalin. They came here and took over the Empire. I was able reassemble my Scouts, and start a underground rebellion. The Ignus can trace advanced tech signatures, so we have to keep it relatively low tech. *shows device on wrist* That's why you may have not detected my Genesis Signal. I had to shut down the higher Implants. *taps eyepatch* Go out and meet the people. Get back to me later alright?
