I see a bunch of people saying how useless shank burn is as a perk. I say don't dismantle those precious shank burn weapons just yet. Wait till the next fallen DLC comes out and we face Frank the Giant Shank as the end boss. Deej will make Frank 3 levels above max light level so that the only way to do any damage will be with shank burn weapons. Those with less foresight will regret dismantling all those powerful shank burn scout rifles and shottys. Forget ghorn. At that time, Lfg sites will have posts stating that all weapons must have shank burn as a requisite to join and beat Frank the Giant Shank. Mark my words.
