By it not being luck and it being that he's good at what he does. He does community shoutouts, weekly updates, occasionally plays with fans of the game. That's more than what many Community Managers do. You don't have to like him, that's not his job. His job is to keep us informed on the game and take feedback, whether the feedback is sound or stupid.
