I think it's fine the way it is because it's still hard to use but if someone is skilled with it then the DOT is a little much and that range is just overly ridiculous. I will only use it when the whole opposing team has it and I hate getting killed by it especially the DOT but I still don't think they should nerf it, other guns can easily outplay it.

The issue isn't the op factor, it's the ease of use. As far as hand cannons go, thorn has the lowest recoil for damage dealt, combined with high range. If they just made the gun a bit more difficult to use, then things would be balance without nerfing it.

I actually find the last word easier to use but pulse rifles beat tlw at range so I use thorn
