Etheric lights and re-rolling.. Dont do it!
So i just re-rolled my 365 efrideet's spear that i had upgraded with etheric light.. Now my weapon is 272/331 again :( So i used one of these very sought after materials to upgrade my weapon to the new highest stat but when i re-roll it for new/other perks it goes back to 331? That is some BS!
EDIT OF ALL EDITS: PRE HOW IB WEAPONS!! IB WEAPONS!! IB!!
Edit: There is a difference between upgrade and ascension. TELL ME WHERE IT SAYS I WILL LOOSE THE ASCENDED STAT on my pre HoW IB weapons..
Edit 2: Go to the gunsmith yourself to re-roll an IB WEAPON before you make another stupid comment.

I mean, you said it yourself that Etheric Light is a pretty scarce material right now. Dumb. Edit: To be fair, I guess it is a little unclear on how the whole process works. I made a similar (dumb) mistake when trying to upgrade my MIDA using Xur the second week of TDB. I ended up dismantling it. But yeah, hard lesson learned. Make Damn sure you're ready to keep your roll before ascending.
