If Bungie makes Etheric Light in a higher drop, this won't be so rare, will be something common. Everybody wanted Gjallarhon when I think on September, once you get it more than 4 times for you it's okay if you dismantle it or no, same with Crux of CROTA and many other items, gear. Conclusion: If BUNGIE change the drop and you get many Etheric Lights you will be in GameStop buying a new game and bitching here, leave the game like it is. My opinion, have a great day.
