Pretty much.
Do they really expect Warlocks (who have the thinnest armor in the game) to run around dick-punching everything to death?
I get it though. All of the Strength-based items are because Bungie wants us to play "their way". They think we should be out there in the 35 Prison getting owned in the face while we try to nut-tap Skolas to death.
Apparently Bungie thinks that's the only way to play...

Found out IB etheric light will only be one purchase at rank 3 and 5. So won't be going they route this week either. This is a really shitty expansion.

I'm at that point... I actually kind of like the IB, not the rest of the Crucible, just the IB. I'm going to go in there and see how fast my rank starts moving. I'm going to get what I can of Etheric Light, but after that, I'm just done. I'm going to have my Warlock wear the gear that I want to wear. He'll simply use the equipment that I want him to use. And I am just not going to mess with this messy abortion of a DLC any longer. Seven days. Seven days and TESO launches.
