they did it the cheap way, why have programmers work on matchmaking? there to cheap to pay them to do it, they went the cheap way around it, its very sad to see a game company do that, i've never seen that before in my life lol, you can't be any cheaper then bungie lol, programmers are probably to lazy to do it and told the supervisor bullshit about how long it will take and this is what it will cost so they convince the powers that be to not invest in it.
its pure lazyness and they dont want to pay to get it done thats why, its the only true reason, if they give an other reason about why , its bullshit, its all about budget and lazyness programmers.

To be fair we don't know why their philosophy is the way it is--that they consider finding a team part of the overall challenge itself. Or why they seemingly don't want to add OMM. Remember, Bungie's crushed MM with halo series so there's that...they know how to, the question is why don't they want to?
