That is PVP. They are talking about means in PVE. Forbes addressed this already.

It's not exactly RARE was my point 6 wins and 8 wins via Trials as well So that makes 6 directly obtainable Etherics this week

Apparently it's rare enough to drive most of the PvE fans into PvP territory. The only thing stopping me from completely agreeing with them is finding our where I stand in particular given a couple weeks of snearing my face against this brick wall of a grindfest.

I'm totally a PvE player, updated guns are fine and all but 34 is given away, grind fest was back in the day of just the VoG when you actually had to work yer pooter off just to hit 30

It doesn't benefit anyone in pvp, especially the people that don't want to play it. How does it make sense to participate in a game mode you loathe just to get material you are going to use to ascend the weapons you want to use in the game mode you do like? It doesn't. It should drop, or should be made available on both modes.

Everyone has different preferences, if you don't want to play PvP to get easier etheric light, that's on you. What about people who preferred PvP before HoW? Was it wrong for PvE content to be the more efficient way of obtaining good gear?

I already said people have different preferences. That's exactly my point. It should apply to every preference because we all need to level up regardless of the mode we play.
