After doing all the DLCs I just went to NG+
Masterless Glencour is a -blam!-ing beast
I have 98 human effigies and I can't even get a lot of these chests now lol.

Not exactly worthless, I just always used summon signs instead

Maybe not worthless, but having more than 15 is just unnecessary. Plus once you get to Amana, you can go human without them, rendering them literally useless.

It takes less than 2 minutes. The bonfire drops you very close to it.

Store the human eff in your box at the bonfire.
