Actually, spinmetal is easier to get. Not every average Joe player can run through trials and poe. It's not easy for many. Did you read bungies numbers about trials? Maybe a couple hundred thousand players, out of millions, made it through trials. Millions! Around 1 or 2 percent of the player base can aquire etheric light through trials. Those numbers don't say "easy". I don't know what the numbers on poe are, but I suspect it's fairly similar, maybe in the neighborhood of raids, which was around 20 percent of player base. Nothing in the numbers say "easy" It may be easy for you, if it is, then congratulations, you are in the top 1 percent skill level of the people who play this game As a one percenter, do you really believe you speak for the player base by saying it's "easy" to get etheric light?
