So do you mean bonus damage without killing you? That sounds ineffective.
Also, you could be using the Iron banner sniper, which has the highest impact in the game. That, coupled with a nerfed final round, [b]will[/b] kill you.

I think you're overcomplicating this. Look all I'm saying is that it should do Bonus Damage but not outright kill a player in Crucible. You're saying it'll make it ineffective but you're just trying to find reasons for it to be removed completely when all Bungie needs to do is simply nerf it for PVP activities. That's it, nothing more nothing less.

Oh okay. So sort of like the concept of the thorn DoT leaving you with a sliver of health but not killing you?

Pretty much. Funny that though since Thorn has Final Round but players rarely ever get to the last round. At least for me they don't.
