Edit 1: Nobody seems to get the point of this post, which is to make fun of people like that who say that old video games were actually challenging, then go enter cheat codes to win the game.

Some of the older games were hard and didn't even have battery back up or codes saving system. You would need to play the whole game in one sitting. Goldeneye you had to beat par times to unlock cheats. Games are more complex as technology advanced it's probably about the same difficulty wise in comparison, even taking into account check points and saves.
