But here's the thing, movement was extremely slow in halo so you didn't need them, destiny is a high movement game with teleports, flying, double jumps, sprinting and the maps are small one hit snipers are how you make them able to compete with shot guns

If snipers 1hko'd on body shots they'd be ridiculously OP there's no weapon sway on destiny to balance it out. there'd just be snipers down every corridor and sight line and NLB would be the most OP weapon in the game by a long way
