Sapphire wire faster?
Hey guys. I know sapphire wire is obtained from breaking down armor, but I have 2 characters generating and all my glimmer is pretty much spoken for. Is there a good place to farm engrams? Or get armor or engrams faster? I heard about the vanguard roc, but are there also other ways?

Well any blue engrams or legendary ones you get that turn into armor, dump xp in them to unlock all the nodes, blue's hardly take any at all and of course legendary ones take quite a bit more, but once you unlock all the nodes you dismantle them and get up to 5 sapphire I believe from a blue and 7 or so from purple, I did this with hydronic essence until I got nice lump of them.

I bought cheap armour from vanguard quartermaster and broke it down. I found 30 mins farming glimmer, then buying tonnes of armour and breaking down was so much faster than strikes / engrams farming which is what I did originally. Admittedly I think as I preordered I got cheaper armour than someone who didn't preorder, but still I think this will be the quickest way. Basically meant enough parts to max one armour piece minimum in 30 mins. Boring, but effective!!

1 RispondiWhile completing bounties and using telemetry/ether seeds ect.. On ROC Engrams appear more often, idk if it's correlation or causation. Use heavy ammo on reinforced characters(yellow) I've also noticed that flips a switch somewhere for blue/purple engrams.

Are you aware that you can give engrams received by your warlock to your hunter and they will decode as hunter items? This weeks weekly is really fast and simple on 24 (especially with a solar primary) and can generate several greens but of course you have to grind it with your hunter. It's also a glimmer gold mine

Modificato da JAMIE1409: 5/1/2015 2:41:58 PMVanguard roc is the best bet. You're guaranteed at least one engram and you often get armour as a reward. Other engrams often drop during the strikes. Also if you use glimmer consumables then you can also end up with a healthy glimmer supply too.
