Little known fact: when originally released the #1 pencil was the most popular. But it's success made the #1 pencil egotistical, vain. The #1 pencil demanded a larger share of profits, endorsement deals and the final straw, unleaded lead. The situation unbearable, the #2 pencil was pulled up from the minors for "the show".
